The music for the documentary “Denn dieses Leben lebst nur du!” is now complete, and I’m very grateful for the result. The film tells the story of a young trans person finding their own path and aims to create visibility, understanding, and empathy.
For the score, I chose an authentic, almost folkloric approach. Nearly every instrument was recorded live — no samples, no plugins. The focus was on honesty and emotional truth rather than technical perfection, allowing the music to quietly support the story.
I’m thankful to everyone involved for their trust, openness, and passion. More insights into the creative process will follow soon.
