At the Baltic Sea, Tuan and Felix discover their love for water as young children. They soon become divers, as this allows them to spend their hours after school together at the indoor swimming pool. However, they soon realize that in competitive sports, the most important thing is to deliver results, and they start to compete more and more. What was once fun and games turns into a relentless competition over time. When they face each other at the Olympics, their athletic future is at stake. But when Felix unexpectedly suffers a serious injury, Tuan – despite the immense pressure to win the gold medal – decides for his partner.

The Story
The Music
“Dive Deep” is a heartfelt, evocative track that beautifully captures the abstract themes of friendship, loyalty, and the emotional depth of human connection. Co-written with Philippa Kinsky and Tim Froehlich, the song seeks to complement the essence of the story without directly mirroring its plot.
The music reflects the subtle, evolving dynamics of the relationship between Tuan and Felix, childhood friends whose bond is tested by time, competition, and personal challenges. While the film portrays their journey through diving and the struggles they face in balancing passion and rivalry, the song embraces the deeper emotional layers of friendship—the sacrifices made, the choices we face, and the unspoken bond that holds us together.
Through tender melodies and a building intensity, “Dive Deep” captures the essence of unconditional support and selfless loyalty, resonating with anyone who has ever experienced the complexities of meaningful relationships. It’s a musical representation of the emotional tides that ebb and flow as we navigate through life, love, and the pursuit of our passions.
